Electronic Music and Installations

"Sound Sabers" is an interactive sound art installation. A drone plays nonstop. Each colored column has a button attached to the top of the prism. When pressed, the button triggers a unique drone. When pressed again, it stops said unique drone. These unique sounds can be played in any combination with or without each other. 

Credited as her first composition, "Blue" captures the mixed feelings one faces when there is a significant change or period of moving on in one's life. There is hope and air of excitement accompanied by nerves and a melancholic sadness.  

This fixed media piece demonstrates the experiences Madelynn goes through during a panic attack. The entire track is composed of recordings of Madelynn herself simulating a panic attack. These recordings have been electronically manipulated to create "Unraveling". 

Made entirely from electronically manipulated sounds recorded at Starbucks (vocals are from a Starbucks employee), "Siren's Blend" is an artificial sound-walk. You travel inside a oceanic cavern where you are called to by the voice of a siren.
